The National Business Advisor Alliance (NBA) seeks to become the most recognised and trusted M&A transaction advisory network in South Africa. We not only enable smooth business transactions but also advise entrepreneurs on issues ranging from tax information to legal matters.
Originating in the European Union as a consultant firm for cross-border transactions within the European Union, NBA's parent company CBA realised that many of its clients could and wanted to benefit from possibilities of selling their businesses outside Europe.
To make this a possibility, CBA began recruiting experienced business dealers from around the world. Today, these recruits are now part of our international network of 235 advisors on five continents.
Over all, this became a win-win situation: CBA gained a global team of M&A experts, while the the professionals gained access and connections to similar specialists around the world.
In time, many international companies and professionals witnessed the business opportunities that CBA presented, and they joined CBA as Associates. In response, CBA has organically built the largest network of international M&A associates from which NBA and its clients benefit.
As part of the CBA strategy to expand globally and strengthening our international ambitions, we founded National Business Advisors (NBA) to service the Southern African market.
The CBA/NBA system brings innovation to the industry. We noticed that consulting fees can prohibit start-ups and mid-market companies from having access to business and specialist know-how that is needed to unlock value during selling or buying businesses nationally or across borders. NBA therefore did away with fees for initial consulting and this extremely valuable service is free. We are not business brokers, nor are we just M&A intermediaries, we help you get value. We therefore only charge a once-off fee, at cost, for specialised transaction-related advisory services. Such services for mandated business opportunities include business evaluations, market research, or special M&A services during transactions.
We are success-oriented for your benefit and for ours - you only pay us a success fee when your business transaction is successfully closed.
For technology transfer mandates we charge a basic mandate fee, together with a success fee on results achieved.
If you are interested in buying or selling a business, finding partners for special business transactions, or joining our alliance; you could stand to gain in the following ways:
